Roka Akor is the latest Valley restaurant to host a weekly farmers market.
The market at the Scottsdale eatery will begin on Jan. 31, and run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays. The market plans to sell organic fruits and vegetables, local arts and crafts, honey, herbal teas and fresh fish flown in from Alaska.
Hungry shoppers will be able to dine on robata and phoenix sushi dishes prepared by restaurant chefs.
The market is joins Vincent's Saturday Market. For nearly 20 years, James Beard award winning chef and founder -- Vincent Guerithault - has been selling local produce, specialty foods and feeding shoppers his crepes and other French-inspired dishes at a weekly Saturday market in the parking lot of his Phoenix restaurant.
